I think doing a number of different things can be tiring, but the variety is much more interesting really, makes one feel less taken over by THE job, and makes the time go faster. Not sure whether the last thing is a plus or not, since life goes by a bit too fast anyway, but perhaps it's an indication that one is more positively engaged...
