Draining

Here's yesterday's washing up, inspired by herhimnbryn as I so often am.
I remember we had a little spate of washing up photos a few years back when I had the old blog. There is something so intimate and domestic about them. I was tempted to take a photo of my washing hanging on the line yesterday too. Or would that just be strange?

Not strange though I would avoid the undies!

I love your rainbow pottery.

I love your washing up photo - if one looks closely, they can tell so much about you. On the surface I'd say you love coffee, lots of color and basic, solid things made from the earth = a woman who has her feet firmly planted on the ground and who adores life!

I am afraid my washing up photo would be the racks from my dishwasher commonly filled with coffee cups, plastic lunch tubs and pots from heating up leftovers!

I still find myself eyeing up the drainer, so I'll give it another go. Nice to see familiar things here, the rainbow pottery...

I like washing too, tea towels are good, look like prayer flags.

A drainer full of joyfulness.

A line of washing would be good, but I'd follow Isabelle's advice.

Thanks all. There is of course a plastic tub there but somehow as part of the overall composition (if I may go so far...) it looks quite appealing and its lid is a nice blue.

As for the undies thing - err, yes. It was pyjamas and shirts and trousers I was sizing up on Wednesday...

Funny thing DD I hadn't made coffee at home for weeks, as I'm trying to moderate milk consumption. This was a little treat when L had gone out for the day! I'm glad my washing up suggests I adore life. Just lately not my prevailing feeling, but still...

"Strange" is the reason I read blogs in the first place. What would be the point of reading commonplace blogs?

And why not photograph the laundry, undies and all? We all wear them... or so I've heard (heh).
