After two days of truly wild weather, we have a flat calm and the bluest blue sky today. And M the builder has seized the opportunity to get up on the roof and sort out the dodgy slates and flashings that have been causing the leak. I can hear him and his mate talking down the chimney, though not what they are saying! 'You don't work for the Inland Revenue do you?' asked M cheerfully from the roof.
Meanwhile a Calor gas tanker has keeled over into the ditch while trying to get up the lane! Not sure whose idea that was. The men from Stoneywood Motors don't seem to know what to do. I didn't want to go any closer in case they took exception to me taking pictures, so you'll have to click to enlarge to see what I'm talking about...
